This Privacy Statement applies to personal information obtained from and about individuals interacting with GEN3 and our Website. It does not apply to personal information about GEN3 employees. We ask that you please read this Privacy Statement before using the Website. 

Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Privacy Statement have the definitions provided in our Terms of Use (the Terms). Parts of the Terms affect this Privacy Statement, so unless you have already done so, please review the Terms prior to using the Website.

5. GEN3 AUTHORIZED RESELLERS 

When you buy GEN3 products or visit an authorized reseller website, the authorized reseller may share your information with GEN3 as the manufacturer. Please be aware that each authorized reseller operates as a separate legal entity and you should read the authorized resellers privacy statement to ensure that you understand its privacy practices and procedures. Additionally, because the GEN3 authorized reseller often is the first contact with you, the authorized reseller can answer any questions you may have about its privacy practices. While GEN3 encourages its authorized resellers to ensure full compliance with all applicable privacy legislation, GEN3 is not responsible for the authorized resellers compliance with applicable law. GEN3 and any of its officers and employees will not be liable for violation of applicable privacy law by any of its authorized resellers. 

When completing a purchase with the GEN3 authorized reseller, please be sure to ask for the authorized resellers privacy statement and related policies. 

6. SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS 

Our Website’s web pages may embed plugs-ins, widgets, or other third-party apps of various social media platforms (Social Media), such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. An example of such a plug-in is Facebook’s “Like” button. 

When you encounter those embedded objects, your internet browser may make a direct connection to the Social Media platform’s service and may share information with the Social Media platforms such as which of our Website pages you have visited. 

You may also choose to provide us with access to certain personal information stored by such Social Media platforms. If you interact with us or our other users regarding GEN3 and its products and services on any Social Media platforms: (i) the personal information that you submit by and through such Social Media can be read, collected and/or used by us (depending on your Social Media privacy settings) as described in this Privacy Statement and (ii) where GEN3 responds to any interaction with you on Social Media, your account name/handle may be viewable by any and all members or users of GEN3s Social Media accounts. We are not responsible for the personal information that you choose to submit or link on any Social Media. Social Media operates independently from GEN3, and we are not responsible for Social Media interfaces or privacy or security practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies and settings of any Social Media with which you interact to help you understand their privacy practices. GEN3 will take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, or alteration. Agents or contractors of GEN3 who have access to your personal information in connection with providing services for GEN3 are required to keep the information confidential and are not permitted to use this information for any other purpose than to carry out the services they are performing for GEN3. This, however, does not guarantee that your information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by any breach of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. In the event that any information under our control is compromised because of a breach of security, we will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and will notify you, as appropriate, in accordance with pertinent laws and regulations.

GEN3 has no intention of collecting any personal information from individuals under 13 years of age, and users under age 13 should not submit any personal information to us. Where appropriate, GEN3 will specifically instruct children not to submit such information on our Website. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information or a parent or guardian of a child contacts us through the contact information provided below, we will use reasonable efforts to delete the child’s information from our databases.

10. NEWSLETTER SUBSCRIPTION 

Users who no longer wish to receive our newsletter may opt-out of receiving these communications by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of a newsletter and following the instructions displayed. They may also send an email to Privacy@GEN3ride.com with the subject “REMOVE FROM E-LIST”. Users may apply to cancel their subscription to the newsletter at any time through the opt-out mechanism.
